Quick Search     HELP How do I use this site? You do not need to register in order to search through our images. However, if you want to make use of lightboxes, order on-line and download high resolution images, you will need to register. This takes a few seconds, but only needs to be done once. You can access all areas of the site from the home page. The navigation bar at the top of the screen provides links to the main sections of the site. The menu on the left hand side of the screen provides links that allow you to browse the database of images, and that give you more information about the site. There is also a Quick Search bar available at the top-right of the screen. How do I register? Click "Register" on the navigation bar at the top of the screen, and fill in the form that appears. You can choose your own username and password, which will be used next time you visit the site and sign in. Once you have submitted the registration form, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to verify your registration. There are a number of ways to find a particular image. The most immediate way is to use the Quick Search bar at the top-right of the screen. Type in what you are looking for and press "Go". For the best results, use only one or two key words that describe what you are looking for (or use a barcode). All images from the database that match your description will be displayed on screen. If the Quick Search fails to find any images that suit your needs, or if it finds too many images that do not exactly match your requirements, use the Advanced Search, which can be accessed by clicking "Search" on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. This form allows you to specify your requirements more precisely to help you find a suitable image. You can also find an image by browsing through the entire database. Click "galleries" on the menu on the left hand side of the screen. This displays a list of categories. Clicking on the name of a category displays all of the images in that category. Clicking on any image produces a separate pop-up screen with an enlarged version of that image and the details of that image, including the name of the photographer. What are lightboxes? The lightbox is a tool for you to collect images as you browse or search the site. You can create as many lightboxes as you need to store any selection of images. The lightbox will be saved for you when you leave the site. You can get to the lightbox screen by clicking "Lightboxes" on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Through a menu bar near the top of the screen you will have several functions available: you can create a new lightbox you can view a lightbox you can email a lightbox to somebody else you can delete an existing lightbox you can rename a lightbox In addition to these, you can also add and remove images from lightboxes In the search results screen there is a symbol that looks like three little square frames, which represents the lightbox, below each image. If you click on this symbol you will add the image to the lightbox and the symbol will turn red. If you click this symbol again, it will remove the image from the lightbox. How do I order images? In the search results screen there is a symbol that looks like a little shopping trolley below each image. Clicking on this symbol will add the image to your shopping basket. You can see which images are in your shopping basket by clicking "Basket" on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. This also gives you an opportunity to remove images from your shopping basket if you decide you do not want to order them. When you have put all of the images that you wish to order into your shopping basket, click the grey "Go" button near the top of the screen on the shopping basket page and fill in the form. When you submit your order, you will have a chance to review and confirm it before it is finalised. What if I need to change my account details? Click "Account" on the navigation bar at the top of the screen and edit the details on the form. When you save the changes they will be remembered even after you leave the site. Why I need to sign out? If you are going to leave your computer unattended, it is advised that you sign out in order to prevent unauthorised people from accessing your account.
